FOLD Mood Series: Writers on Fear and Monsters

Saturday, May 8, 2021
6:00pm–7:15pm

Fear is an intensely powerful emotion, transforming reality into a monster of its own, changing everyday people and things into terrifying creatures that haunt our thoughts and threaten to overwhelm us. In this Mood Series event, authors Silvia Moreno-Garci (Mexican Gothic), Nathan Niigan Noodin Adler (Ghost Lake), and P. Djéli Clark (Ring Shout) discuss the function of fear and the role of monsters — how characters maneouvering through moments of terror illustrate important truths about real world challenges.
